Check the vehicle access while the design is still moving. Import the site plan, sweep the design vehicle, and put the result on the consent set — before a reviewer asks.
Resource consent drawings
Show the rubbish truck reaches the bin store, the B85 gets into and out of every bay, and the service vehicle turns in the loading area. The DXF drops straight onto your sheet.
Bulk and location
Test the driveway and the turning area against the building footprint early. When the ramp has to move rather than the wall, better to know at concept than at consent.
Parking layouts
Aisle widths and bay entry to AS/NZS 2890.1 — but drawn, not read off a table. Reverse out of the tight bay and see whether the B99 clears the column.
Site plan in, drawing out
Export a DXF from Revit, ArchiCAD or AutoCAD, import it here, and take the swept paths back on named layers in metres.
Rigid vehicles only. If the brief involves semi-trailers or B-doubles, that manoeuvre still needs a specialist and their software.
